Birth + Postpartum Doula
TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF
Iโm Crystal, Over a years-long career of intense, full-time devotion, I have personally guided well over 100 families through the profound landscapes of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Beyond my direct client care, I am a mother of three, a community crisis advocate, and an industry mentor who helps guide and consult the next generation of emerging birth workers.
HOW DID YOU COME TO DOULA WORK?
How did you come to doula work? I fell into this field by helping a pregnant friend navigate birth and then from my own personal trauma with my own birth experience not being the best, I wanted to stand in true advocacy in helping women feel safe.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST OR FIND MOST REWARDING ABOUT DOULA WORK?
What I find most rewarding is witnessing the exact moment a mother transitions from fear or exhaustion into absolute empowerment. Whether that happens through continuous hands-on advocacy during active labor, or by bringing peace and biological stability to a home. I also find immense reward in the crisis intervention aspect of my workโstepping into complex situations, collaborating with community resources, and helping mothers overcome severe postpartum or relational hurdles to ensure their families stay whole, safe, and thriving
what are your specialties or areas of particular passion?
I specialize in full-spectrum, continuous labor support and specialized day and night postpartum management.
โThe most powerful motherhood role models are women who show you how to heal, not how to hide.โ
